Yoga literally saved Nicolas's life. Nicolas spent years partying a little to hard as a teen in the underground Chicago rave community where he was a successful DJ till the age of 21. He explored drinking and drug use to where he hit a deep bottom. During a great time of need, yoga quickly came to the rescue for Nicolas and has positively changed his life in all ways. Nicolas has been a dedicated student to the practice since 2006 and teaching full-time since 2010.

Nicolas had been studying different forms of meditation and metaphysics since he was a young boy. In 2010 he completed his first 200 hour teaching training at Yogaview in Chicago with Tom Quinn, Claire Mark, Geri Bleier, and Quinn Kearney. In 2013 Nicolas completed his 300 hour advanced teacher training in Los Angeles with Noah Mazé.

He has explored many different schools of hatha yoga practices including Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Nada Yoga, Tantric Tibetan Buddhism, and different forms of Tantric Yoga. His personal asana practice is Iyengar and Ashtanga based and his asana teaching is a hybrid of both systems. Nicolas's primary teacher currently is Richard Freeman. 

Nicolas has personally studied with master teachers Matty Ezraty, Bhagavan Das, Douglas Brooks, Noah Mazé, Sara Strother, Tim Miller, Chuck Miller, Gabriel Helpern, Julie Lawrence, David Swenson, Tim Feldmann, Christina Sell, and Amie Ippoliti. Nicolas brings a kind, joyful, yet intense and challenging energy to the classes he teaches. Nicolas is very humbled and grateful to be assisting you in your yogic journey where we can grow and learn together moving into brighter states of love and compassion.

*200+ hour teacher training with Tom Quinn, Claire Mark, Geri Bleier, and Quinn Kearney at yogaview in Chicago Illinois from August 2010 to December 2010.

*300+ hour advanced teacher training and practice intensive with Noah Mazé in Los Angeles CA, February 2013 to December 2013.

*50+ hour advanced teacher intensive with Maty Ezraty in Chicago IL in 2014.

*Nicolas has personally studied with master teachers Richard Freeman, Matty Ezraty, Noah Mazé, Darren Rhodes, Sara Strother, Tim Miller, Chuck Miller, Gabriel Helpern, Julie Lawrence, David Swenson, Tim Feldmann, Christina Sell, and Douglas Brooks.
