Nicolas has been a dog owner is whole life and has trained many different go breeds for over 10 years. He has learned how to not just work with dogs, but to really connect with them in the present moment. He uses an intuitive approach on what is needed moment to moment to assist the owner and the dog with not just a training technique or method, but to actually connect with the dog on deeper levels, heart to heat and soul to soul. The result is a well behaved dog and a life long bond strengthened by love.
Nicolas's approach is a positive reinforcement balanced framework rooted in a "Nothing for Free" philosophy. It relies on built-in daily structure, routine impulse control, and natural consequences rather than continuous treat-luring.
- Positive Reenforcement Training Balanced with "I'm the Boss" Attitude: Your dog deserves to be shown love and care always, and when appropriate, your dog needs to know you are in charge, you call the shots, and you are the pack leader at all times. This promotes a healthy dog and owner relationship and keeps your loved one safe and happy.
- No Aversive Collars: Does not use shock, choke, or prong collars to promote obedience or prevent fear-based aggression.
- Nothing for Free: Dogs must work and show calmness (like a sit-stay) before receiving resources like food, doors opening, or playtime.
- Transitioning Off Treats: Treats are used initially for new cues, but are quickly faded out in favor of natural, routine-based rewards like play time or showing affection.

How Training Works
Free Consultation
Phone call to discuss your training needs and ask questions. We then will set up a custom training plan and you can choose from one or both of the following scenarios below.
Private Sessions
1 on 1 training with you, your family, and your dog. I will travel either your home, or to a local meeting spot such as the park. A session typically lasts an hour and are scheduled as needed.
Day Training
Dog gets dropped off in the morning, spend the day with me training and socializing, then gets picked up in the evening.
